I’ve searched numerous gardening sites but can find nothing about what it needs in terms of light, water, fertilizer and general care. Can anyone help?

The scouring rush or horsetail is a plant that appears to day just as it did in prehistory. It has a long history. And during all those thousands of years, it has been a bog plant or even a non-bog plant that needs full sun. It’s invasive as the dickens, but under no circumstances will it grow indoors.
