What are the agencies or departments taking care of the retirees here in the Philippines?
are they treating the retirees well? what are the benefits that these retirees get?

First of all, there is the GSIS that takes care of pensions of people who retire from government service. And the SSS for employees of the private companies.

In terms of benefits, neither of these will allow the retiree to live comfortably in their old age. Thus, those who have pension plans or retirement packages from their private employers are better situated.

There is also a government body called the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) and its private sector counterpart, Philippine Retirement Institute (PRI). These 2 bodies are in charge of the program to lure FOREIGN retirees to the Philippines, offering them inexpensive, safe, and properly managed retirement homes in designated retirement communitites.

I assume you mean those who work for private companies..it’s the SSS. For government employees, the GSIS.

I;m more interested in Departments that take care of Exiles.
Are there any departments there at home who will take care of us exiles? It’s not fair! Here we spend all our hate and anger against society and now they won’t take care of us?
