    I always add bone and blood meal. Just make sure you wear gloves and a mask, because it is dried blood and bone.

    I have heard that Fish Emulsion does a great job in fertilizing soil for all plant types, but I have not tried it yet – so I don’t know for sure. I’m going to be trying it out this weekend.
